Kelli graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas A&M University in December 2000 with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science. In May 2005, she graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Doctor of Pharmacy from University of Houston College of Pharmacy. While in school, she was a member of Rho Chi Honor Society and Kappa Epsilon.
Kelli studied advanced compounding through the Professional Compounding Centers of America (PCCA) and was selected to intern for PCCA with a local compounding pharmacy. Through this specialized training opportunity, she recognized compounding as the key to successfully treating patients with challenging individual therapeutic needs.
After completing her education, Kelli initially worked for a national chain pharmacy and later for a compounding pharmacy that specialized in hospice care and women’s hormone replacement therapy. Her goal to include compounding in her pharmacy career and her love of animals led her to join BCP. Her medicinal and compounding expertise make her a valuable addition to the BCP Veterinary team.
Kelli’s affection for her dog, Tillie, a mix of whippet and pit bull, gives her a very personal understanding of the strong bond between people and their pets. She believes practicing pharmacy in an environment dedicated to keeping animals healthy is the perfect career.
